Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before purchasing or using any digital product, course, or resource ("Products") offered through literacywithcarly.com (the "Site"), operated by Literacy with Carly, ("we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing or accessing any Product, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Our Products

Our Products (including but not limited to Letter Sounds: What You Need to Know, Wize Phonics, and related digital courses, printables, and resources) are educational materials intended for teachers, interventionists, tutors, and parents supporting early literacy instruction. They are provided for general educational purposes only.

These Products are not a substitute for individualized diagnostic evaluation, therapy, or special education services. We make no guarantee of specific student outcomes, test score improvements, or academic results. Results depend on many factors outside our control, including implementation, student needs, and instructional context.

2. Purchases and Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars at the time of purchase. Payment is processed securely through Stripe/PayPal. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

3. Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident in your purchase. Our refund policy is as follows:

• Eligibility window: Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date of online courses only.

• Usage condition: To be eligible, you must have completed no more than 50% of the course content, as tracked by our course platform.

• How to request: Email carly@literacywithcarly.com with your order confirmation and the reason for your request.

• Processing time: Approved refunds will be processed within 5 business days to the original payment method.

• Abuse clause: We reserve the right to deny refund requests where we reasonably suspect fraudulent or abusive behavior, including purchasing and consuming a Product with the apparent intent to request a refund after substantial or complete use.

• Refunds are not available for digitally downloaded Products, those explicitly marked as final sale, bundled bonus items received as part of a limited-time promotion once the promotional period has ended, or any purchase outside the eligibility window above.

This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction.

4. Access and Delivery

Digital Products are delivered via instant download, email link, or login access to our course platform, as described on the applicable sales page. It is your responsibility to provide an accurate email address at checkout. If you do not receive access within 24 hours of purchase, please contact carly@literacywithcarly.com before disputing the charge with your bank.

5. Intellectual Property

All Products, including videos, PDFs, worksheets, templates, graphics, and written content, are the intellectual property of Literacy with Carly and are protected by copyright law. Your purchase grants you a single-user, non-transferable license to use the Product for your own classroom, tutoring practice, or household.

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, or share purchase access with others

• Upload course materials to shared drives, file-sharing sites, or social media

• Use the content to create a competing product or course

• Claim authorship of the materials

Violation of these terms may result in termination of access without refund.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Literacy with Carly and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, our Products. Our total liability for any claim related to a Product is limited to the amount you paid for that Product.

7. User Conduct

You agree to use our Products and Site in a lawful manner and not to engage in any conduct that could damage, disable, or impair the Site or interfere with any other user's access.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our Products or Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [YOUR STATE], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
